GFI Solutions, a Montreal-based IT consulting company and a subsidiary of GFI Informatique Group, has agreed to acquire Groupe Accovia, a Canadian software systems and automated vacation package assembly solutions provider to the travel industry. The financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. The merger will allow GFI to expand its workforce beyond 400, and earn USD 94.45 million revenues over the next three years.

The acquisition will strengthen GFI Solutions’ position in the Canadian IT market and add clients, such as Pierre et Vacances, Vacances Transat, Liberty Travel, and Disneyland. With this, clients will be able to benefit from the combination of extensive IT and trade expertise in the travel segment.
